This Privacy Policy explains how Glyph — Stylish Fonts (“Glyph,” “the app”), published by Sabthok (“we,” “us”), handles your information. Glyph is built privacy-first: the keyboard works entirely on your device, and we collect as little as possible.
Glyph includes a custom keyboard extension. In iOS, a keyboard can only access the internet if you grant it Full Access. Glyph does not request Full Access. As a result, the keyboard cannot connect to the internet and cannot transmit, store, or log the text you type. All font styling, snippet expansion, and emoji search happen locally, in real time, on your device. We never see your keystrokes.
Glyph does not collect, request, or store any of the following: your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location, the contents of what you type, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any cross-app tracking data. There are no user accounts and no sign-in.
The main Glyph app (not the keyboard) uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to receive automatic crash reports. This helps us find and fix stability problems. If the app crashes, Crashlytics may collect limited, non-identifying diagnostic data such as:
This information is processed by Google acting as our service provider, and is used only to diagnose and fix bugs. It is not used to identify you, is not sold, and is not used for advertising. Crashlytics runs only in the main app — it is not part of the keyboard extension. You can learn more in Firebase’s privacy documentation and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your preferences — pinned favorites, custom snippets, themes, and other settings — are stored locally on your device and shared between the app and its keyboard through a private app group. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us, and is removed when you uninstall the app.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. The only third party involved is Google Firebase Crashlytics, described above, acting strictly as our processor for crash diagnostics.
Glyph is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the app collects no personal data, it is safe for general audiences.
You can stop all crash-diagnostic collection at any time by deleting the app. You control whether the keyboard is enabled in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards, and Glyph functions fully without ever enabling Full Access.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
